Not in a Hurry

God.

Keep me from the rush. From the need to be connected constantly. Remind me. I don’t have to have the answers; You know and have planned out my days.

 “This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:

In repentance and rest is your salvation,
    in quietness and trust is your strength,

but you would have none of it.” Isaiah 30:15

Not by my strength is justice done.

Not by my actions is mercy given.

“Wait for the Lord;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14

    Also, I wrote a song based on Ps. 27:14 when my dad passed in 2009. Can’t sing it here 😀 but the first verse and chorus go…

    “Lord, when I am weak

    Your strength prevails

    As the hart doth seek,

    My soul will faint

    And I’ll wait, LORD,

    I’ll Wait LORD,

    I’ll wait on You, LORD,

    I’ll wait on You, LORD!

    Maybe one day!
